The enormous number of old buildings in the city were not torn down, but restored one by one. And so Wiesbaden has managed to move into the modern world without losing its imperial flair.

Burg Sonnenberg
The Burg Sonnenberg Castle dates back to the year 1200 and secured the area north of Wiesbaden for the Counts of Nassau.

Cuckoo Clock
In 1946 the Cuckoo Clock was erected by souvenir salesman Emil Kronberger in the Kaiser-Friedrich-Square.
