Main station

The main Station was inaugurated by Emperor William II as the city's new central train station in 1906.

This neobaroque building is made of red sandstone. The layout of its features, such as the tower (40 metres), pavilion and hall are designed to be picturesque.

Form here local trains leave to Frankfurt Airport and the entire Rhein-Main region. Furthermore long-distance trains connect, too.
