There are numerous opportunities to taste the Rheingau wines in Wiesbaden, such as for example on the weekly market (Wiesbadener Wochenmarkt). Here Wiesbaden's vintners present themselves alternately on Saturdays from March to November. You can taste the various vintner products between 8 am and 2 pm.

Wine can be tasted in a particularly pretty location at three wine-tasting stalls in the surrounding districts of Wiesbaden, in Kostheim on the banks of the Main, at the harbour in Schierstein and in Biebrich beside the Rhine. The city of Wiesbaden also boasts numerous wine estates with wine taverns "straußwirtschaft" or cellars "gutsausschank" and some special wine shops.
