During the Rheingau Music Festival, singular cultural monuments such as Eberbach Abbey, Schloss Johannisberg, Schloss Vollrads, wine-growing estates, and the Wiesbaden Kurhaus are transformed into concert stages for the international music scene. The 34th iteration of the festival, one of the largest of its kind in Europe, is scheduled to be held between June and September. It hosts more than 170 concerts throughout the region, between Frankfurt, Wiesbaden and the Middle Rhine Valley, every year.

Klostersteig Johannisberg Basilika

The well-known Rheinsteig® premium hiking trail, covering more than 320 kilometres between Wiesbaden, Koblenz, and Bonn, will give you an idea of the incredibly beautiful cultural landscape of the Rheingau.
