The mix of offers is varied and sophisticated. In addition to the lively pedestrian zone the city has a real upscale „designer street“ with about 130 shops on offer. Haute couture, distinctive shoes and handbags, high-class jewellery: this is what the Wilhelmstrasse is known for, and why it is appreciated not only by the residents of Wiesbaden, but by others both within Germany and abroad.

If you are looking for something special, the Taunusstrasse is the place to go. Fringed with beautiful greenery, the traders on this street offer an attractive mix of antiques, delicatessen products, accessories for the home and garden as well as top-quality kitchen equipment and designer fashions.

Over a length of more than one kilometre in Wiesbaden’s pedestrian area, consisting of the Langgasse and Kirchgasse, there are not only department stores but also large chain stores and countless retailers and eating houses. Little boutiques with unusual accessories, young fashion or jewellery are also to be found all around the pedestrian area. The quarter ‚Kleine Schwalbacher Straße‘ attracts with a special old town flair.

Moreover, Wiesbaden has two shopping malls, Lilien-Carré at Wiesbaden’s Main Station and LuisenForum in the pedestrian area, known for the fantastic range of products they offer.
