This museum regularly has alternating exhibits on the history and culture of women in society. Founded in 1984, the museum is internationally recognised today. Approximately one-third of the visitors come from neighbouring European countries, Scandinavia and the USA. The museum offers an extensive accompanying programme consisting of seminars, lectures and workshops for all of the exhibitions.
