12 winemakers have announced their participation
12 vintners of the Rheingau Wine Week have notified Wiesbaden Congress & Marketing (WICM) of their participation. Currently, the detailed coordination for the construction planning on the Kranzplatz and at the Kurhaus colonnade is in progress. WICM had asked the winegrowers in a circulation procedure about the possibilities and necessary basic conditions for the realization of the concept.
First major open-air offering for Wiesbaden
The possible easements under the Corona Stage Plan require corresponding offers for the citizens. The three wine weekends in the city center could be the first larger open-air offer for the citizens of Wiesbaden after the long and depriving time of the lockdown. Since the Rheingau Wine Week cannot take place as usual, they are therefore very pleased that a contribution can be made to realize this experience in another form. However, the organizers would like to continue to ask the people of Wiesbaden to adhere to the applicable rules, so as not to put what has been achieved - also in view of the alternative to the Wine Week - at risk again.
Three wine weekends from July 22 to August 8
The wine weekends are to take place from Thursday to Sunday from 4 p.m. to midnight, with the wine being served at 11:30 p.m. for the last time. Specifically, the following weekends have been set: Thursday to Sunday, July 22 to 25; Thursday to Sunday, July 29 to August 1 and Thursday to Sunday, August 5 to 8.
