THermine – The Little City Train

Due to the corona virus, the little Stadtbahn THermine is suspending its service until further notice. After the end of the corona pandemic, it will resume its tours through Wiesbaden.

During a comfortable round trip with this unique vintage style city train you will learn a lot about Wiesbaden's historic anecdotes and facts, and you will visit impressive sites and residences of famous former inhabitants of this elegant metropolis on the Rhine River. The information in English is played from audiotape. Learn all about the Savoir-Vivre of the former world spa city and get to know the unforgettable flair Wiesbaden offers nowadays.

One should simply take a little time – sixty minutes, a couple of hours or a whole day – and get on the THermine and enjoy the Hessian state capital.

The THermine offers passengers the possibility of discovering the most beautiful sights of Wiesbaden, the Kurhaus for example, historical villas with a beautiful view, the Nerotal, the Russian-orthodox church on the Neroberg as well as the Nerobergbahn.

The ticket is valid for the whole day so the ride can be easily interrupted at any one of the many stops. The first stop for getting on and off the train is "Markt" opposite of the Wiesbaden Tourist Information. Tickets can be purchased at the Tourist Information in advance or directly at THermine.
